A security certificate is a small piece of code to ensure a secure connection with a specific domain and it’s a good idea to use a security certificate for important things such as ecommerce transactions on your site or to access the hosting control panel.
At a cost of several hundred rand it’s however not feasible for purchase a certificate if you don’t want to do ecommerce transactions on your website and with regard to the hosting control panel we offer you a free secure connection under our server security certificates to access the hosting control panels.
To do that we use redirection and your browser will display a warning that there is a problem with the certificate but you can safely ignore such warning and click accept or add exception depending on what browser you use.
https://yourdomain.com:2083 or https://yourdomain.com:2096 etc will redirect you to our secure server connection but cause above “warning”. (Take note the https where the last S means Secure)
http://yourdomain.com:2082 or http://yourdomain.com:2095 will not give you a secure connection so there will be no security certificate warning. (Note the http and that the port is 1 less than the secure connection port)
